TRAINING MATERIALS FOR DEFENCE PRACTITIONERS Online Guideline on EPPO Proceedings In the framework of our project providing training on the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) for legal practitioners throughout the EU, the Academy of European Law (ERA) together with the European Criminal Bar Association (ECBA) and with financial support from the European Commission’s Justice Programme 2014-2020 have just finalised an online guideline on EPPO proceedings tailor-made for defence practitioners in the EU. | | | | |
The guideline aims at giving a short and precise overview of the most important issues in EPPO proceedings with regard to a defence-based perspective. Next to a general overview of the EPPO, the guideline sets out defence rights in EPPO proceedings, looks at the admissibility of evidence and dismissal of cases, and explains proceedings for judicial review of EPPO cases. We are glad to offer you free access to the online guideline in English language (German and French translations are about to follow): EPPO_eGuide Further information on the EPPO including training materials, background documentations, speaker contributions and e-presentations can be found in the library section of our project subsite: https://era-comm.eu/training-on-eppo/library/ Please feel free to also share this information with your colleagues. | | | Connect With Us: Academy of European Law Supported by the European Union
