Key features of the UN Convention on Rights of Persons with Disabilities
Implementation of the UNCRPD by the Member States

State Parties have to submit to the CRPD committee a report addressing the measures taken to implement the Convention in their national legal systems. One initial report is issued within two years of the entry into force, with periodical reports being presented every four years after. These reports consist of a common core document, addressing the general framework for human rights’ protection, and a treat-specific document, addressing the necessary measures taken, in terms of policies and legal framework, to incorporate the Convention in the domestic legal order.
