Your current occupation and country of work?
I am working as an attorney at a family-based law firm in Novi Sad, Serbia, with primary focus on Labor law.
How you use European law in your work?
The Course covered significant updates and developments in various areas of Labor law, such as posting of workers, whistleblowing, remote work etc, which insights have been valuable in advising clients on how to deal with issues they encounter, regardless of whether they are employees, or especially employers, which are often international companies arriving from EU.
How you benefitted from the scholarship and the gained knowledge?
The scholarship from the Friends of ERA Association has been instrumental not only in my understanding of current developments in the field of labor law in EU, but has also provided me with an opportunity to network and collaborate with legal professionals from different countries. This exposure to diverse perspectives has enriched my approach to legal problem-solving and has broadened my professional horizons. Furthermore, the training has given me access to valuable resources and materials that I can continually refer to in my practice. I am very grateful for the support provided by the Friends of ERA Association through this scholarship. It has been an enriching experience that will undoubtedly contribute to my professional development for years to come.
