Your current occupation and country of work?
My name is Inna Vasylkivska, I’m a senior consultant of Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and ERA scholar from Ukraine.
The area of my professional interest includes adaptation of European tax law in Ukraine.
How do you use European law in your work?
The process of harmonisation of Ukrainian tax legislation with EU law is ongoing and we have a lot of work ahead. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy is responsible for cluster 16 "Taxation".
Since I head the direction of European integration in the field of taxation at the Secretariat of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, I believe that the key to our team's success is to establish effective links with European colleagues and to have a proactive position.
