- Q & A with Myroslava Slobodianiuk
Your current occupation and country of work?
I am the Head of the Patent Department and Deputy Director of BOROVYK AND PARTNERS, Kyiv (Ukraine).
How you use European law in your work?
In the company, I work with international patenting, primarily with patenting in the European region. Since Ukraine has now received the status of an EU candidate, it is likely that the legislation on intellectual property in Ukraine will soon become part of the legislation on intellectual property in Europe, and the knowledge gained at the Summer Course on European Intellectual Property Law will become part of my daily work.
How you benefitted from the scholarship and the gained knowledge?
Due to the pandemic and now the war in Ukraine, live training has become rare but they have an extraordinary effect on the knowledge gained. It is possible to learn more, meet specific people, exchange ideas over coffee, and ask questions immediately during classes. I would like to note the extraordinary professionalism of each speaker, their desire to share their experiences and knowledge, their openness and the interesting and interactive tasks. It was a pleasure to meet such wonderful practitioners.
