This e-presentation provides insights into the competences of the EU General Court (EGC) and the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) in EU restrictive measures cases. It explains the procedural rights during the adoption and renewal of individual restrictive measures. The notification, review and extension of restrictive measures are addressed, as well as the reasons for such listings. The topic of confidentiality during such proceedings is also addressed. It concludes with a look at alternative legal challenges to restrictive measures.
