In this e-presentation, Professor Eugenia Macchiavello, after exploring the concept of greenwashing in the context of the financial sector, critically analyses the ESAs final reports on greenwashing (main features, similarities and differences) and the most relevant provisions from a greenwashing perspective in the banking, investment and insurance legal frameworks. Moreover, the e-presentation, then focusing on the investment sector only, describes the most important legal issues and obstacles concerning public and private and enforcement as regards greenwashing.
