- Q & A with Marina Kapustina
What is your legal background, your current occupation and country of work?
I am a junior associate at bnt attorneys-at-law, a law firm in Bratislava, Slovakia.
How do you use European law in your current work?
Our law firm offers legal advice to mostly international clients on all issues of business law. Therefore, working with foreign clients is an integral part of my daily duties and European law is a necessary asset for my skills set.
What was your motivation for attending this particular event?
The main motivation to apply for the event was that I was transferred to the Bankruptcy Department. Therefore, the knowledge on the practical application of the Bankruptcy Directive obtained in the master class was extremely practical and improved my understanding of cross-border bankruptcies.
How did you benefit from the scholarship?
Recently I had to apply for a restructuring procedure in France, so the knowledge gained in the master class could also be applied in practice.
