This e-presentation first introduces the interplay between the Information Society Directive (2001/29) and the Digital Single Market Directive (2019/790) which are the main EU copyright legal instruments in the EU. As a second step, it dives into the complex relationship between these two instruments and other key legislative texts, such as the Digital Services Act and the AI Act.
