This e-presentation discusses the main observations and recommendations of ECA’s Special report 28/2023 on Public procurement in the EU. The report covers the period 2011-2021 and is aimed at analysing the impact of the 2014 public procurement directives on the procurement process in the EU member states. On the basis of its findings, the report outlines several main recommendations to the European Commission for improving public procurement competition in the EU.
