After a brief background overview, Edward Turtle presents the main drivers for the revision of the current product liability regime and highlights the main reforms introduced. He concludes with a brief introduction to the proposed AI Liability Directive and the EU Representative Actions Directive, which complement the new EU liability regime for defective products.
