In his e-presentation, Michael Wukoschitz discusses the recent revision of the EU’s Package Travel Directive (PTD) which forms part of the European Commission’s “New Passenger Mobility Package”. He compares proposals and compromise texts from the Commission, Council, and Parliament regarding key issues such as payments, termination, vouchers, insolvency protection, and redress of the organiser. He furthermore elaborates on Air Passenger Rights Regulations, related recent CJEU case law and current revisions.
