The e-presentation explains the legal framework for transferring operational personal data to third states and international organisations from Eurojust’s perspective and how it works in practice. It outlines the hierarchy of transfer mechanisms and details past agreements with several third countries, the EU’`s procedures for negotiating new international agreements and the European Commission’`s role in adequacy decisions, such as in the case of the UK post-Brexit.
