After giving an overview of the EU legislative process leading to the adoption of the CDSM Directive in 2019, this e-presentation introduces the objectives and rationale of this Directive with a particular focus on the implementation into national law of its Articles 15 (publishers’ right) and 17 (responsibilities of online content-sharing service providers).
