The goal of the project was to train 300 practitioners (judges, prosecutors, law enforcement officers, financial and compliance officers and members of civil society/NGOs) from eligible EU Member States and Candidate Countries in how to effectively counter THB from a perspective that encourages better cooperation between Member States, with a focus on countering impunity, enhancing financial investigations and reducing demand. In order to meet this objective, ERA and its partners organised six practice-oriented training activities throughout Europe from March 2020 to June 2023.
